Gaynes Park Wedding Photography

I arrived at Gaynes Park, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and I knew this was going to be a great day. I made sure Lara and Tom were comfortable with ensuring their photography for their big day was tailored to what they wanted. Gaynes Park wedding photography offers so much choice for photographs, which just makes it a very enjoyable venue to work at.

Lara and her bridal party were getting ready in the Gaynes Park cottage, which is the perfect backdrop to the bridal prep photography, set on two floors it allows plenty of room for everyone to get ready without feeling too busy. I love all the mirrors in the cottage, it keeps me on my toes as I need to ensure I do not inadvertently end up in any of the pictures, but it allows me to be creative with the shots. I broke away to get some photographs of the boys, as well as they, were getting ready onsite, it is always nice when both parties are getting ready onsite as it just makes it easy to capture both bridal and groom prep.

Winter Wedding Photography

Being a winter wedding it is typical that after the speeches there is often not much if any light left. This is no problem and something I take a lot of time talking to my couples about and helping them with their timelines where necessary. The great thing about weddings at this time of year is they give couples more time for night shots, which is where I can really get creative with lighting. At this time of year, there are also some striking sunsets, they sometimes happen during the wedding breakfast, but if I see one developing I will always give my couples the option of going outside for a few minutes to capture some golden hour photographs.
