Smeetham Hall is located in Bulmer, a charming village on the border between Essex and Suffolk which is very close to Sudbury and Long Melford. Surrounded by stunning countryside it really is an idyllic country wedding venue. The barn is over 500 years old and has been perfectly restored with beautiful detail. The high vaulted ceilings give it a very spacious and airy feel

When it comes to photographic opportunities Smeetham Hall certainly has a lot to offer from the picturesque lake and pond to the stunning house in the background and of course, you have the barn which is full of opportunities both inside and out. As an Essex wedding photographer based just outside Braintree, Smeetham Hall is just a  short drive away and a venue I always love to visit, it is actually the venue my wife and I wanted for our own wedding.
