Olivia and Alistair’s Wedding at the Cambridge Belfry

The Cambridge Belfry Wedding Photography by Cambridge wedding photographer James Thomas

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Olivia and Alistair’s wedding at the Cambridge Belfry. The day was full of big smiles and proud family moments. I started with bridal preparations at Olivia’s parent’s home before heading off to the Belfry.

We were blessed with fantastic weather and were even treated to a sunset later in the evening. Having already met Olivia and Alistair at the venue beforehand I had a list of images they wanted, including some reflection shots on the lake, a champagne spray, some backlit umbrella shots and my old favourite the coloured smoke shot and I’m pleased to say we got them all.

The couple had put so much thought into the decorations for their wedding, they had a rustic country theme which looked stunning. There were handcrafted details everywhere which were a pleasure to photograph, they complemented their individual wedding story beautifully.

This was a really enjoyable wedding to photograph, Olivia and Alistair wanted many unique images and we took the opportunity to make the most of the sunset and captured some wonderful shots and again after the first dance some of the night shots.

If you are looking for a Cambridge Belfry wedding photographer, I’d love to hear all about your big day and how we can capture it with a blend of traditional and unique creativity.
