Amy and Tim’s Engagement Shoot at Beeleigh nr Maldon in Essex
Beeleigh Engagement Shoot by Essex wedding photographer James Thomas Photography.
Maldon Wedding Photography
Having spent a large portion of my life living in around Maldon in Essex. It is always a pleasure to photograph weddings, engagement shoots and all sorts of other photography there. Beeleigh is such a beautiful location just a stone’s throw from Maldon, you can actually walk there along the river from Tesco’s car park. Its a great place for a nice river walk with lots of great scenery which is what makes it so great for engagement photography.
A Special Location
Amy and Tim had picked Beeleigh as it was a special location to them where they had spent a lot of time over the years. I was very much looking forward to this engagement shoot as I knew what Beeleigh would offer. We spent a couple of hours wandering around picking out locations around the grounds, the bridges and the ruins.
If you are thinking about potential locations for an engagement shoot I’d recommend checking out Beeleigh. There are also several other similar locations nearby like Heybridge Basin and Maldon Promenade. One of the nice things about living in the beautiful county of Essex is you are never too far from amazing scenery.
Should You Have an Engagement Shoot?
Absolutely yes is my recommendation! They are a great way to get some photographs to look back on in years to come and remember your courting years. Not only that engagement shoots are also a great way to have a little practice being in front of the camera before your big day.
