Sarah and Tom’s wedding at the stunning Fennes wedding venue.

My first wedding of 2019 took me to the beautiful Fennes wedding venue in Essex. As a Fennes Wedding Photographer, this was to photograph Sarah and Tom’s wedding providing coverage from bridal preparations through till on into the evening to get some creatively lit images.

I had met Sarah at the venue to run through some ideas, I mentioned we could use some coloured smoke to get a few styled images alongside some other creatively lit images and these ideas went down very well. Sarah and Tom were up for all my ideas and were a lot of fun to work with, with winter weddings when daylight is in short supply I like to get some night images for my couples. Come rain or shine there are always some great images to be captured and when you are working with a backdrop like the Fennes venue, it makes for some great opportunities.

I suggested that we get some portraits shots in the library room as it makes a great background, I setup a softbox and studio light to get a really nice soft light for this. We actually got these images between courses of the wedding breakfast, not everyone would be up for getting g up during this time but if couples do want to use that time to get some extra shots I am always more than happy to accommodate.
