I had known of Hadleigh Castle for some time but hadn’t got around to checking it out. As my clients Sarah and Mike live in Southend I thought it would be a good opportunity to do a shoot there so I was very happy when they picked it from my list of potential Essex Engagement shoot locations.

It’s a great location offering many different backdrops in amongst the castle ruins overlooking the river Thames. I met Sarah and Mike early one Saturday morning to avoid it being too crowded and was rewarded with some great light and weather conditions.
