This was Chloe and Martin’s engagement shoot but they wanted to bring the family along so we made it into a joint engagement and family shoot and why not? the more the merrier. Paper Mill Lock family photography sessions are so much fun especially when the sun is out and the river is busy.

Paper Mill Lock is a great location in the heart of the Essex countryside and has a real holiday vibe to it with a quaint little tea room and boating activities on the river, a beautiful setting for Paper Mill Lock Family Photography sessions.

It features a lock gate system which is always fascinating to watch and a must to include in some of the photographs. Why not make a day of it and stay on after the shoot or go for a walk along the river, with miles of the beautiful scenic river it makes for a great walk.

I love photography at Paper Mill lock, it literally has a photo opportunity everywhere you turn and being right on the river, what more could you ask for.
