Shoeburyness Engagement Shoot

Technically speaking this was not actually an engagement shoot as we shot it after the wedding, the couple were so busy on the run-up to their wedding that they couldn’t fit it in but I wanted to make sure they got the shoot so we planned it in a month or so after they got married.

Coastal Essex Engagement Shoot Locations

Shoeburyness Beach was actually a new location for me, Sophie and Ben had requested it and it’s always nice to shoot somewhere new so I was looking forward to seeing what we could capture. If you are looking for a coastal location for an engagement shoot its a really good choice, the weather was quite grey and overcast on the day so I brought in a bit of off-camera flash to give the images a bit of pop. I thought these conditions would look good in black and white so kept that in mind when choosing some of the locations for images.

Essex Wedding Photographer

I know I say it a lot but as an Essex Wedding Photographer we really are lucky to live in such a scenic county, we have some amazing locations throughout the county which allows for a real abundance of choice when selecting a location for your Essex engagement shoot. Sophie and Ben’s Shoeburyness Engagement Shoot location choice worked really well and I’ll be adding it to the list of suggestions I give to my couples.

Engagement Shoots

Engagement shoots are a great way to get some professional photographs while at the same time getting used to being photographed which helps alleviates any nerves before the big day. I currently include them as standard with my full day wedding collection as they are a lot of fun to shoot and the feedback from my couples is that they are very beneficial.
