I’ve been lucky enough to photograph quite a few weddings at The Lawn in Essex, and each time it’s been an absolute pleasure. The venue is absolutely stunning, with its lush green lawns, beautiful gardens, and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

But what really makes The Lawn special is the way it captures the essence of a summer wedding. The sun always seems to be shining, the flowers are in bloom, and the air is filled with the sound of laughter and music. It’s the perfect setting for a couple to celebrate their love with their family and friends.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Lucy and Russell’s wedding at The Lawn on a particularly beautiful summer day. The bride and groom were absolutely radiant, and the ceremony was simply magical. We made full use of the stunning surroundings and house to captures some beautiful wedding photographs. It was oner of those weddings where I couldn’t wait to start editing the photographs, a great couple who were naturals in front of the camera.

Essex Wedding Reception

The reception was a lot of fun, and the guests were all dancing and having a great time. I loved capturing all of the happy moments, from cake cutting and the first dance to the party in full swing. We finished off with some off camera flash night shots by the fountain. It was a truly unforgettable day, and I’m so grateful that I got to be a part of it.
