I recently had the pleasure of photographing Mandi and Adam’s wedding at the stunning Blake Hall wedding venue. Wedding photography at Blake Hall is always a pleasure, it just offers so much potential to get great wedding photographs from the bridal cottage to the magnificent barns set is beautiful grounds.

Mandi and Adam were due to get married in 2020 but like many couples had to postpone their wedding due to the covid restrictions but that gave them even more time to plan their perfect wedding and perfect it is was in every way. Anyone who has been to or has married at Blake Hall will know Austin and how well he ensures you have the perfect day. I actually first met the couple back in 2019 when we met up at Blake Hall for their engagement shoot, they are a great happy bubbly couple so I knew photographing their wedding would be a lot of fun.

Blake Hall is set within the beautiful historic private gardens and comprises of a series of beautifully restored 17th-century barns which offer so much from a photography point of view. 

Get Great Photographs No Matter the Weather

As with many weddings in the UK we were treated to a  mix of weather conditions from bright clear skies, to rain with a lovely rainbow and a beautiful sunset in the evening. A lot of couples contact me worried about the weather on their big day and worry it will affect the photos, I always tell them not to worry, yes you may get slightly different photos to a dry day but there are many photo opportunities in the rain that are not available on a dry day so whatever the weather you will get great photographs.
