Wedding Photography at the Lawn

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Terrie and Stuart’s twilight wedding at The Lawn wedding venue in Essex. The great thing about wedding photography at the Lawn is the beautiful photo opportunities within the house and surrounding grounds. No matter what the weather does you can be guaranteed great photo opportunities, the gardens are simply beautiful and make an amazing backdrop to your wedding photographs.

I know Terrie had really wanted an outdoor ceremony, but with the rain forecast, the decision to have an outside ceremony was held off until the last minute but I am pleased to say that the wedding did go ahead outside and was full of celebration and a great wedding atmosphere. The Lawn has a beautiful gazebo in one of the gardens for outdoor weddings and as we were still under some Covid restrictions it meant Terrie could have her dream wedding without guests having to wear masks.

Although this was a twilight wedding as it was in the middle of summer we still had plenty of time for some photographs in the daylight, one thing to consider if you are thinking about a twilight wedding is that as the wedding starts later in the afternoon so there can be less time between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast.
